Spring is in the air – are you ready to bloom?

Wednesday, March 10th, 2010

There’s definitely a change in energy as of late. There’s an electricity in the air…or maybe it’s in the earth as things come alive with this energetic force.

Spring is coming! And the energy of the Equinox is pushing in.

The past few days I’ve been very aware of an energy moving in, almost as a preparation for the Equinox. And my sense is that the energy will shift somewhat recognizably on the Equinox, for those who are working with it.

So if you feel yourself doing deeper work as the Equinox draws near (Saturday March 20th 10:32am PST), you are not alone. In fact you are right on target! My sources say, keep up the good work and clear out those old ways of Being that no longer work with the new energy coming in.

And if you feel a shifting of energy where it feels a bit like the bottom has dropped out, just breathe and ground your energy. This is temporary as we let go of the old and make space for the new.

These shifts in energy are truly urging us along in our growth and expansion. Staying aware of your energy, so you can consciously work with it, is vital as we maneuver through the process of  letting go of what no longer works and allowing in what is new.

Things are re-arranging right now. And as we move into Spring here in the Northern hemisphere, our work is to look at where we too need to blossom and call in that energy to let go and expand!

If you are looking for some energetic assistance in supporting you through these on-going changes, I hope you will join me on the Expansion Tele-Calls I offer. You can also download the Jumpstart Guide to Creating a Daily Energy Practice for Self Healing, here on this site to your right!

If you’ve been feeling the energy shift, change and re-create you…I hope you will share your thoughts below. I’d love to hear from you!

Healing the Heart: How to Step into Right Action

Tuesday, February 3rd, 2009

So we’ve hit the ground running it seems for 2009. It’s a year for individual growth, collective hope and where big ideas are met by the universe with an even bigger “YES!”  We spent much of January with Mercury in retrograde. And with that, many of us had the opportunity to explore some old issues and wrap up unfinished business. We’re back on track and ready to go—and this is the year to do it!

The last four years or so have been a bumpy ride for many on the ascension train. But we’ve truly come into our own these days. We’ve come into ourselves in a way where we can transition our power—our ownership of self and our responsibility for what we do—into the whole. It’s time to step up to the plate and make it happen.

Stress Management–10 Tips for Survival

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2008

Stress is really hard to define because what stresses us out is different for everyone. With this in mind, here’s a definition of stress that I like: Stress is a condition or feeling experienced when a person perceives that demands exceed the personal and social resources the individual is able to mobilize.

In other words, people feel little stress when they have the time, experience and resources to manage a situation. They feel great stress when they think they can’t handle the demands. Stress is an experience. It is not an inevitable consequence of an event: it depends on people’s perceptions of a situation and their ability to cope with it.

Although there’s an innate stress response to unexpected events, most of the stress that we are faced with is a response, in part, to the way we think. Stress reactions from our thoughts generate the same stress response as if you were in physical danger.

The interesting thing is that it doesn’t take a major fear to stress us.  All it takes is a situation where we believe ourselves to not have the resources to manage the event at hand, big or small. Some times those “little things” that throw us over the edge are big stressors because we no longer feel we have the resources to cope.
