There is a new moon today, and with that there are always new beginnings.
I’m no astrologer, but I sure do feel energy! And the energy right now feels like our new beginnings are being squeezed out from pure pressure or tension.
I started to notice this tension around the time that Mercury went retrograde (Aug 20).
My inner tension has had its peaks and valleys, but it’s been there all the same. And it’s mission, it seems, has been to help me get my priorities straight.
I’ve been hearing this same thing from many of my clients as well. What no longer works has really been bringing up a level of frustration that can not be ignored.
The good news is, that with the new moon the energy is beginning to shift. The energy is beginning to “bubble up” or “bubble over.”
The trick I think is to keep looking at where the pressure is. Where is your frustration right now in your life? That is where something new wants to emerge.
Throughout most of August and early September, the energy has been full of this tension which has been acting as a way to get our attention. Give your inner squeaky wheel some oil!
Use the new moon, the darkness, to go within and explore your inner process.
Look first to where you are holding your inner tension. And if you haven’t yet been doing so, re-establish some of your priorities in life. Look to where you are committed. What is pulling you forward? And don’t be afraid to let go of the things that are holding you back — and may be creating that inner tension.
Go within. This is the time to do so. Let the bubbly energy create movement within you. Let it help you determine what wants to rise up and move into action.
It’s time for a new beginning. And between the energy of the new moon and Mercury going direct on Sept. 12 we get to shift gears.
And then I learned that Mercury went retrograde around the end of 2009. We all hear about this mysterious Mercury retrograde event. It happens 3 times a year, and at times, is more of a bother than others.
