What is important, however, is to create a road map for the new year. And mind mapping is a fun and insightful way to lay out those deeper intentions you may have for 2010.

Synchronicity is one of those things that seems effortless. Those seemingly random events that come together and move us forward. It feels like they just fall in our laps. Usually it's when we are on purpose—clear in our intent—that out of the blue comes the right person or situation that is just what we need.

Those synchronistic events, to me, don't just happen. They are created. They appear for us when we have the clarity and focus to pursue our dreams in such a real way that they manifest.

We’re heading into the dog days of summer (at least here in the northern hemisphere) and that can feel like a time of slow progress, if any. But it’s actually a great time to check in with ourselves on the intentions we set back in the spring for our inner work and personal growth as well as those relationships, jobs etc. that we wanted to bring to life.

Here’s a thought which I took away from Dr. Michael Beckwith’s talk at a conference I was at recently. He said, “Belief is a placeholder for what you know.” This of course made sense to me. But it’s been lurking in my mind these past few days.

Here’s my thought process. We have a belief, which we practice. We may even have an affirmation to affirm that belief over and over. We practice it enough and we get an “a-ha” moment—insight. Then, we have knowingness. What has held me in this inner discussion is Trust. In order for us to know something, we must first trust it to be so. How and when does this Trust move into form?
