Life on planet Earth is rocky right now.
We are collectively grieving what is happening around us — with so many feeling the pain of the earthquake in Haiti and the suffering there.
There is such rapid change happening on so many levels that it has been hard to not feel out of control.
We feel this evolutionary change as our consciousness shifts, but so too does the planet. And when the Earth ripped apart, I think we hit a point where we needed a time out to manage the magnitude of that event, as well as all the other change that we are experiencing, both in and out of our conscious awareness.
The feeling I have, on an energetic level, is that a big giant pause button has been pushed, and we are being asked to stop and sit with what is right now. I’ve been describing it as a big pregnant pause, I guess in the hopes that when the pause button is released, we will all be birthed into something new.
Wanting to skip this and get beyond the suffering is a natural response. After all, this hurts. But keeping our hearts open now, when we are faced with such pain and stillness, is the way out.
So if you are feeling this slow down right now, this pause, you are not alone. I think the Universe hit the pause button to protect us — a mandatory slow down of sorts.
We have all been shaken up on some level.
With crisis comes a wake up call. And in this moment, I believe we are being asked to go within and find those places which hold us back from being fully present and fully able to step into a more expanded place with more light. It is time to let go of those things we know we can’t take with us as we embrace higher states of being and create a world full of compassion and support for all who need it.
So feel the pause.
Stop and let go of what you can, in order to get down to what is real. And then send that love and light to those in need.
And then I learned that Mercury went retrograde around the end of 2009. We all hear about this mysterious Mercury retrograde event. It happens 3 times a year, and at times, is more of a bother than others.
It seems to me that 2010 is the year of responsibility. Personal responsibility, that is, in accepting our creative abilities.
