Another weekend is here!
OK, last week’s “weekend wonderings“ may have been intense. Truth telling can be, but it is oh so good for the Soul.
So this weekend we’re going to chill out a bit. After any big processing time it’s good to let things integrate, so you can keep working with what may have come up.
I talk about grounding all the time. In fact in my session work I spend time each and every session taking people through the process to see where they are grounding their energy and helping them to get connected to that energy. It is vital to our healing to be connected to our grounding and the energetic resources within the planetary energy systems.
And what I see when I’m looking at people’s energy as they ground is that the whole grounding process actually shows me a reflection of what is going on at a bigger level with people. It can show us where there is hesitancy, resistance, fear, integration and even an indication of a big transition, as your energy searches for new vibrations and information within your grounding to connect to.
Cool huh?!
Here’s a little “weekend wondering” meditation that you can do this weekend to help you connect to your grounding energy!
Ground and run your energy and then ground that!
Start out by visiting my website for a few free meditations. I recommend the Grounding and Energy Awareness Meditation (10:00).
Find a quiet space to listen, and follow this energy-based guided meditation. And then when done, take a few minutes and journal about your experience.
Sometimes when we have been in a really deep meditative space we don’t want to switch gears and start thinking too much. I get that. So for this exercise just let your writing flow and remind yourself about how it felt for you to connect to your energy, your grounding…whatever you felt. This is to help you anchor it in or embody it now that you are back in a more conscious state.
Really explore the grounding experience you had from all levels…play with this exploration…go wherever your mind takes you to deepen your awareness of what that experience may be showing you about your energy and what you are aware of in your healing or personal awareness process.
This is a great way to stay in the flow of this energy as you integrate and process your experience. And, it grounds it all on a body and even mental energy level as well, so you anchor it all in more deeply (thus grounding the grounding!).
If writing is not your thing, hang out in that meditative space and take stock of what you are aware. Let it gel!
