Today marks another big astrological marker for change. Our Astrology friends are pointing to the Uranus-Pluto square — the first of 7 — which moves into place today, and hangs out until October. Some call this, “the eye of the storm.”
We’re breaking through to another evolutionary level here, particularly around control and power: who has it, how does it need to shift, and what will this look like for us globally.
And, you know that saying, “As Above, So Below”…well its true, this radical change that is afoot is not only going to be more visible in the world around us but also within us.
Our personal growth is our spiritual growth and evolution. And I believe that our inner work is the vehicle for how we shape the world.
So this big push that is here, which has the energetic potential to topple and re-construct old structures of power and control, will also do that for us in our own personal lives. And how we chose to re-create our internal sense of control, fear and sense of connection within us will show us how we chose to re-create those things all around us.
The Universe and Cosmos is giving us a great gift to look at this power play. It’s been coming on for a while, and with all the energetic shifts we have been experiencing over the years we are ready for it. There’s been this beautiful orchestra of energetic transformation around “the shift” …even in just the last few months.
The solar eclipse in May opened us up deeply. A deep feminine energy shifted with this, as the unconscious took center stage. Our own personal work make have taken a turn toward the feminine and self worth, self esteem and personal power. It was a huge step in what the new dance of the feminine and masculine is now about, and the opening to our recognition of our connection to one another.
Then the lunar eclipse came. It provided some energy to take action in new ways on our journey, to once again move our new awareness out into the world. A renewed energy was being felt…a revving up of our spiritual evolution once again. And then the Venus Transit opened up the feminine energy even more. It delivered an energy to support operating from the energy of the divine feminine and healing the wounded feminine in us all.
The recent Solstice brought in a new dance between the masculine and feminine energies, a new container to be integrated. There is a shift in the masculine energy as it responds to all the feminine energy work going on. It’s opened up more healing of both the feminine and the masculine as we do this, as well as a global dance of how we now look at things like control and power. And that’s all very timely as we now have an energy to move this healing and awareness into action with an energy or container to better uphold it.
So here we are…at this “eye of the storm” with Uranus-Pluto squared and we are faced with the task of really truthfully looking at what is going on. The energy is here to get real and take ownership but in a new way…one with more heart, more balance and integrity. And what we are creating within we are also creating around us.
This is the work: getting real.
This introspective process is not always easy. But for us to truly “shift,” as we have been saying we are, we have to look at where we are out of balance in our own lives so we have an internal structure from which to navigate our lives from and then point us toward what we want in the world.
Globally this power struggle circles around financial structures, which is also what I’m told the planets are shining the light on at the moment.
I believe with this cosmic lens shining on us now, these are the things we all need to look at in our own lives in order to support whatever change we hope to see outside of ourselves around the shifting patterns of control and power.
- Where are we in power struggles in our inner world (inner conflicts) and with others?
- Where are we not being crystal clear with our finances? What might we not be owning up to around our money issues?
- How clearly are we experiencing our own personal power and trust so we can stand in that?
These are not always easy issues to grapple with, but unless we do we aren’t able to move into the flow of the very intense energy that is upon us. We can’t move into the eye of the storm.
The clearer we can be in our own energy, the clearer we can be in what we chose to create in the world and what we want our world to reflect back to us, especially as we step up into higher levels of consciousness and the capacity to hold more Truth, Love and Personal Responsibility.
Our personal process and evolution is our spiritual process and evolution. Get clear. Find your highest vibe and shine that. And oh yeah…lots of hugs!
