Let it be

I’ve been teaching and  talking with a lot of people lately about letting their energy “relax,” letting go of that energetic tension we sometimes have that shuts the door on anything new moving into our experience.

And, I’ve been thinking about this myself – staying aware of my own energetic expansion and holding an energetic stance of allowing and receiving…letting it be versus grabbing and grappling.

This was on my mind as I walked to the bus, heading into my office. And on my music player, on comes the song, Let It Be. It’s the version of Paul McCartney’s song from Across The Universe by Carol Woods and Timothy T. Mitchum, which I just love!

Once again as I listened to this song, I was amazed at the depth (and genius) of it. And in my current frame of mind, I heard this song in a new way.

Usually when I hear (and sing) this phrase “Let it be,” its as if I am asking for something. I’m asking for what is in my heart “to be.” Now this isn’t a bad thing by any means!

But today, when I listened to this song, I was literally feeling – goosebumps and all – how by letting things be, letting go of the struggle and creating space, we make room for the answer! And, there really will be an answer!

Some of you reading this may be saying, “Duh!” right about now. But in those moments when things really hit you and make sense on those deeper levels – and you move into an even deeper level of trust in the Universe and all that is…wow! …Goosebumps.

And the thing that made this even better was, when the song finished, I was on the bus and this man said loud enough for the whole bus to hear, “Yep, God works in mysterious ways!”

No kiddin’! I’m still smiling.

So here’s the song…which way are you listening to it today?!

Wonderful Stacy. I love this writing. Letting it be, trusting that the answer is there is definitely my edge and I appreciate your insights.

oy, how I understand this … well, maybe not to the deepest level as yet, though I know that’ll come. Having health challenges one right after the other definitely brings up a lot for me, relaxing into the unknown ~ letting it be. And then with my mom not doing well and being a partner as well as caretaker to David …. I have to keep checking in with myself to let it be, let it be, let it be ~ trust and deep faith.

thanks for writing this Stace ~ P.
