Mercury is retrograde again….

Saturday, April 17th, 2010

Mercury, the divine messenger, is retrograde once again. And as always we can see this as problematic or a time to become more aware.

If you find yourself being bogged down with mis-communications, see where you can become more clear. If emails go astray or you have “technical difficulties,” look to where your energy may need attention and clearing.

What I’ve read about this retrograde period from a more collective point of view is that there may be a shifting of ideas and behaviors around money. How we make financial decisions, where we put our money and how we trust in this process will all come into play…perhaps even on a more global scale.

Whenever Mercury is in retrograde we have an opportunity to clarify within ourselves what we know to be true and to communicate this. We have an opportunity to expand. It’s all part of the bigger shift in consciousness we are in the midst of. It’s all part of our healing process.

So between now and May 11 when Mercury goes direct again, let the divine messenger bring you what you need to take the next step forward!

Are you listening with a discerning ear?

Friday, April 9th, 2010

This past week has been pretty crazy. LOTS going on energetically. And if you have been in the midst of upheaval, well, you are not alone!

There is this fast flow of energy upon us that is just amazing. It’s this rush of pure power, flushing things out. And the way to deal with it—and what may feel like tumultuous change—is to sit in the middle of it and listen to your piece of the bigger sound.  When we do, things certainly feel much more gentle.

This rush of energy came in and definitely got my attention. I was seeing this energy as an orchestra. And the message I was getting was to be able to pull out the various sounds needed individually, from the whole.

We can listen with an ear that hears the whole orchestra or certain sections such as the strings or the percussion. What is needed now with all this energy is an effort to discern the various sounds from the whole, to hear what is needed for you.

When we can do that, we have the ability to tune in to what we need while still being able to hear the whole orchestra for reference. But the string section is doing something different that the percussion section. And in full spectrum of energy,  there is different information there for us when we can listen to specific parts of the whole.

This ability to discern is key now-a-days. It’s easy to get pulled into areas where we loose focus. And being able to discern what information is the information we need to move forward can only come by stopping and listening.

The question is, are you drawn to the string section? Maybe the horns are calling you in?

Find out. Be aware. Stop and listen….as there is clearly differentiated information coming in that we need to be listening to. And in doing so you will find that the whole orchestra begins to come back into perspective but perhaps in a new way which supports your expansion with more ease.

A leap of faith

Saturday, April 3rd, 2010

I woke up today noticing an energy that feels a bit tentative…resistant perhaps. And as I sat with this, and delved deeper into what I was aware of, I began to sense yet another shift for us into new energetic territory.

El SaltoThe image that I see is that we are once again standing at the edge of a great chasm, and we must leap!

What I am sensing today feels like we are examining where we are and where we are going…energetically.

When I looked at this energy, it was almost as if a pros and cons list was being created, on a mass level. Should we stay where we are…or jump?

We’re a bit hesitant, which isn’t surprising!

For many, this is a Holy time; Easter is tomorrow and we are in the middle of Passover. The message of renewal, re-birth and creative change is present in our thoughts, even if we don’t participate in these religious celebrations.

Collectively we are “in” the energy of change. It’s in the air. We’re energetically exploring our own growth and transformation whether we are conscious of it or not— and it can bring up quite a bit of fear.

Change is scary, and we—all of us—are changing in ways we can’t yet imagine. We don’t have a map of this. We may see a few steps ahead, but we really have to trust a process that feels foreign. We must take a leap of faith.

Yet, I question if this energy I’m aware of today reflects an energetic process of looking at change and renewal from what was, rather than what we are stepping into.

The energy of what we are stepping into is so new to us, it is often unrecognizable. And our natural inclination is to try to perceive it from our old reference points and what we are familiar with.

I wonder as we’re each making our pros and cons list, if we’re getting stuck in a more comfortable—more recognizable—past?

It may be that collectively we’re energetically exploring how to separate ourselves from what is old and known and then engage with what is completely new. And, perhaps on this weekend when so many are reflective of change, this energy may feel especially strong.

So today, look at where you are viewing your change from. Are you tethered to the past?  If you find those places within you, let the past show you where change wants to happen. Allow yourself to call in new ways of seeing what is coming into form. Take with you only what you need and trust that what you are creating now will sustain you and keep you safe as you leap!

And as you find your own healing in this process, send it outward to those who may need some assistance during this time; to those who may still be held back by their fears of what is coming or who can’t yet see the way. Open your heart with the intent to bring healing to all.

Take your own leap…for more of us who can do this help others to do the same. And in doing so, may we all find ourselves safely on the other side of this next big leap.
