The Fall Equinox: A Celebration as We Begin Our Journey Inward

Life has been busy lately, at least in my neck of the woods. As summer has been winding down, I’ve been aware that Fall is coming (at least here in the Northern hemisphere.) But I’ve been trudging along without giving it much thought.

Today I woke and realized that indeed, Fall is here! And I’m reminding myself that this transition time is the perfect time to step back and honor my own creations, my own “steps forward,” that can often get lost in my day-to-day hustle.

The autumnal equinox is one of those turning point days for me. It’s a quiet reminder to notice time passing. And with it usually comes an inner transition to begin a journey inward again. Yet there is still an energy of celebration and vitality that the summer months have held. And the energy that I feel today, as we begin our transition into Fall,  is one of true celebration. A celebration of life and the abundance around us — that we may not be taking the time to notice — as we each move through our own daily life.
