I’ve been thinking a lot about this idea: how must I grow for my vision to be real; my vision for myself, my work and for the planet.
My first impulse with this is to move into action. And today when I sat in the quiet of my morning all I wanted was to get answers, get a clear direction and get going! Yet, it felt like there was a brick wall in front of me. When I could finally get clear on what was going on, I heard the voice of wisdom say, sit tight and get a clear plan. There was a message of patience–hang on and get it together before you jump into the deep end!
What I came to realize was I was being instructed to spend some time “fine-tuning” what I’m trying to do. I need to revisit things and get a clear, grounded understanding of what I really want–in vivid Technicolor! And as much as I want to jump in with both feet this week…right now…it became really clear as I looked at the energy “out there”, that this election week is not the time for me (or anyone else really) to go out and kick off the new deal! It’s a mess out there to be honest. With the election and all the energy around it, my sense is that now (especially the next few days) is the perfect time to sit still, do our inner work, plan, and envision our change. In other words get our houses in order. And once the energy settles a bit to where it can hold the next step, then go out and make it real. This was my personal message this morning, but it feels like it holds true for many of us.
Most of you know about 2012 and the “prophesy” that a change is a-comin’. My take on this is that we are on the verge of an amazing global shift in culture and consciousness. It feels so real now that I’m like the kid in the car saying, “are we there yet?” It’s making me crazy! But patience I must have, as must we all. We’ll get there. But I have such a feeling of excitement in me that it is hard to contain. I feel like we’re on the edge of something (quite literally on the eve of something) and the possibilities are endless. But it’s easy to get pulled into the excitement and jump two steps ahead. And that’s where that patience comes in…as well as the planning. The truth is we have a long road ahead of us. Much of what we are seeing fall apart needs to be re-visioned and recreated. We must each hold our part of the collective vision and know that there is a perfect time for each step.
I think that as we begin to see the doors being flung open, so many of us who have been taking small steps toward clearing the way for change in our own unique fields are eager to get out there and make things happen. But we need patience. Not only patience for all the election energy to settle, but also the shifting away from what I refer to as “the mob-energy” that has gripped so many these past few months. Once we can unplug from that, we will each have an easier time taking steps toward the change we envision.
Unplugging from the fear and plugging back into your own unique path toward growth and expansion is the first step. It’s important to do this…give yourself time to reconnect to You. Then, from there who knows where you can go! But if the Universe has given you a little down time this week, take advantage of the opportunity and go within and look at this:
- Are you plugged into the masses/mass fear or your own higher self?
- If you feel even the slightest tug of a bigger group energy pulling you off balance, let that shed off you now so you can truly see what is in front of you. Really let yourself sit with that for a while.
- What must you envision for yourself, your community, the world?
- How must you grow to be the vision in the world?
- Do you have the beginnings of the road map? If not, come back to center and see what’s there.
Let this brew for a while even if for just a few more days! Let it simmer and feel it in all its glory. Connect to the emotion behind what you want, feel the energy and then go for it!
Our next steps are right there in front of us, but we do need just a little patience so we are sure we are on the highest pathway (the Expanded Pathway!).
