“Stacy uses a safe, natural and effective
energy-based approach to health and healing; I go to Stacy to help maintain a healthy physical and emotional body. I have learned that when the flow of energy through my body is chaotic, blocked, or out of balance, it will lead to physical pain, elevated blood pressure and emotional distress.

A long-time weekly client, I leave her studio feeling calm, balanced and revitalized. I highly recommend Stacy and Expanded Pathways. She is serious about her practice, gentle, and is very knowledgeable about her chosen field. An added bonus - the rates are reasonable!”

CranioSacral Therapy and
High Blood Pressure

Did you know that close to 30% of women in the U.S. has high blood pressure?

And, it's been estimated that about 90% of middle–aged adults will develop high blood pressure in the remainder of their lifetime.

Lifestyle changes can help you control your blood pressure. And Craniosacral Therapy can assist you in balancing your nervous system to support you in reaching your goal of reducing or even eliminating your high blood pressure.

CranioSacral Therapy and High Blood Pressure: CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a non-invasive, light-touch form of bodywork.  It works with the body’s natural healing mechanisms to release negative effects of stress on the central nervous system.

Like the pulse of the cardiovascular system, the craniosacral system has a rhythm that can be felt throughout the body. The body speaks through its rhythms, micro-movements and especially through its patterns of stress and resistance.

Once a pattern of stress is detected, delicate manual techniques are used to assist the natural movement of the fluid and related soft tissue to help the body self-correct. This simple action is often all it takes to remove a restriction.

The focus of CranioSacral Therapy when working with high blood pressure is a full-body approach targeting the nervous system, but also the underlying factors that cause stress.

Integrating CranioSacral Therapy and energy work, deep relaxation can be found and the energetic “under currents” that affect the body's natural balance can be brought into harmony helping you stay in balance.
